My name is Ms. Josie also known as Ms.JoJo.
So excited to be starting my second year as your Art and STEAM teacher at TTC School. Los Angeles California was my home until I finished High School. I moved to New Mexico 35 years ago after graduating from, Rutgers, Mason Gross School of Fine Art with my Master’s degree in painting. My Bachelors degree is from the University of Kentucky, where I was recruited to play woman’s volleyball. I have been a Head Volleyball Coach and educator at 3 local high schools for the past 15 years. My one grown son, who was born and raised here in Santa Fe, now lives, works and plays in Utah. Making and teaching art, playing Pickle Ball, listening to music , gardening , hiking , camping and swimming in lakes and oceans are my favorite obsessions. I am looking forward to starting another amazing journey of wonder, creativity, joy, and inquisitive thinking with all you Cool COYOTES!!!!
Char Rothschild, Music Teacher
Char Rothschild, a native Santa Fean, has been teaching General Music at Turquoise Trail for 18 years. He began in 2000, and continues to develop a world music curriculum that incorporates creative movement, technology, instrumental instruction, body percussion, and music theory to help our students create an inclusive school culture.
David Hillendahl, Band Teacher
David Hillendahl spent nearly a decade as a touring musician on Broadway before moving to Santa Fe. Now in his 12th year at TTCS, he writes and conducts music for the middle school band, 5th grade band and the Coyote Chorus. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Bradford College.
